83rd Academy Award Predictions

Here they are, my picks for tomorrow's Oscars:

Best Picture: King's Speech

Possible upset could go to the Social Network or Inception, but The King's Speech is holding a steady lead in this race.

Actor in a Leading Role: Colin Firth (King's Speech)

It will and should be Colin Firth as the stuttering King George VI, but Jeff Bridges could come out of the woods with his performance in True Grit.

Actress in a Leading Role: Natalie Portman (Black Swan)

Natalie Portman is the front runner, however it's possible that Michelle Williams from Blue Valentine could come up with the surprise upset in this category.

Actor in a Supporting Role: Christian Bale (The Fighter)

Christian Bale portrayed Dicky Eklund almost to the tea in the Fighter but I feel as though Geoffrey Rush could come away w/ the statue. Very tight race for this category.

Actress in a Supporting Role: Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit)

While only 14 and with little to no acting experience, Hailee was a pro in True Grit along side other phenomenal, and much older actors. This might be the tightest race of the night with Amy Adams and Melissa Leo (The Fighter) and Helena Bonham Carter (The King's Speech) all very worthy nominees.

Animated Feature Film: Toy Story 3

If it weren't for so many other outstanding films in the Best Picture category, Toy Story 3 is the runaway in the Anitmated Feature.
